2014 Nevada Student Mock Election

Student Mock Election Day is Thursday October 30th!

Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller and Superintendent of Public Instruction Dale Erquiaga invite all Nevada students, teachers, and parents to participate in this year’s Mock Election program. This year, the Secretary of State’s office is again partnering with the Nevada Department of Education to develop and encourage the next generation of American voters by providing them with the opportunity to learn how to participate in the electoral process by voting for real candidates during a simulated election process. What? 2014 Nevada Student Mock Election Project

When? Fall 2014 - October 30, 2014
Where? All Participating Nevada Schools
Why? The My Service, My Citizenship project is a comprehensive, interactive, cross-curricular program designed by the Secretary of State's office in partnership with the Nevada Department of Education. The program is designed to educate all Nevada students about the electoral process in the State of Nevada. The project consists of one main activity: The Mock Election Day.
