All Parties Increase Voter Registration Numbers in April

(Carson City, NV; May 1, 2014) – All parties increased their voter registration numbers in April 2014, as shown by data released today by Secretary of State Ross Miller’s Elections Division. The number of statewide registered active voters increased by 5,934 from the previous month.

Of the 1,146,914 active registrants statewide, 40.89% (469,023) are Democrats, 35.32% (405,116) are Republicans, 17.62% (202,116) are nonpartisan, 4.79% (54,950) are members of the Independent American Party, and the remaining 1.37% (15,709) are members of the Libertarian or other minor parties.

The deadlines to register to vote in the June 10 primary election are Saturday, May 10, by mail, and Tuesday, May 20, online or in person.
