Registering to Vote

Online Voter Registration
Residents of eligible counties may now register to vote and update voter registration information online, including change of address and party affiliation.  A DMV issued ID is required.

All counties are eligible for online voter registration.

Voter Registration Form
If you do not reside in an online voter registration eligible county, click here to access the Secretary of State's Online Fillable Voter Registration Form and follow three simple steps:

  • Print the form.
  • Fill out the form legibly and don't forget to sign it.
  • Mail or Deliver in person the form to the county clerk or registrar in your county.

Other Options for Registering to Vote
You may register to vote at any NV Department of Motor Vehicles office, at your county clerk or registrar's office, at various social service agencies, and on college campuses.

Changes to Current Registration
If you've moved, changed your name, want to change party affiliation, or otherwise have to update your voter registration status, you must submit another voter application form.   If you reside in an online voter registration eligible county, you may update your status online here.
