All Parties Decrease Voter Registration Numbers in February

(Carson City, NV; March 3, 2014) – All parties experienced a decrease in voter registration numbers in February 2014, as shown by data released today by Secretary of State Ross Miller’s Elections Division. Following the last major routine voter roll cleanup by counties this year, the number of statewide registered active voters decreased by 57,241 from the previous month.

Of the 1,135,953 active registrants statewide, 40.98% (465,483) are Democrats, 35.38% (401,906) are Republicans, 17.53% (199,085) are nonpartisan, 4.77% (54,175) are members of the Independent American Party, and the remaining 1.35% (15,304) are members of the Libertarian or other minor parties.
