(Carson City, NV; August 11, 2008) – Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller, as the state’s chief elections officer, will provide comprehensive primary election results at, the Secretary of State’s official elections information website. The website, which is home to a full menu of election information, including the “My Voter File” platform and the “Please Don’t Call” list, will provide updated results throughout the evening until the primary voting is completed.

“We’ll be in contact with county clerks and registrars throughout the process, compiling statewide information and posting it on the web. This is the same information being disseminated to the media, so visitors to the website can get results with the same immediacy as the media,” said Miller. “The site will include a banner alerting visitors as to the next expected update of the voting tallies, and a voter turnout statistics tool which allows users to compare voter turnout from this primary with previous years and customize their search by individual county. The voter turnout statistics function can be found under the election center link.”

The website will report statewide totals, congressional results, state senate and assembly results, and county results. The website will also show the percentage of precincts reporting, and will continue its regular function as the home of the “My Voter File,” the “Please Don’t Call List,” as well as voter registration information and voter turnout statistics and results from previous elections.
