(Carson City, NV; March 2, 2012) — Secretary of State Ross Miller announced the appointment schedule of individuals who plan to file Declarations of Candidacy for non-judicial offices in the 2012 election.
To date, five individuals have scheduled appointments with Secretary of State Elections Division filing officers.

Candidate filing for non-judicial offices on the 2012 ballot begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 5 and closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 16. Candidates can still schedule appointments with the Elections Division at 775-684-5705 during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Appointments are not mandatory and scheduled on a first call-first served basis. Elections Division staff do their best to accommodate individuals’ schedules. Candidates who drop in to file without an appointment may have to wait until a filing officer is available.
