Ms. Stein will work with Carolyn Ellsworth, the former Chief of Enforcement who was promoted to Securities Administrator. Stein will be responsible for enforcement of the security laws of the State of Nevada, and will provide the Secretary of State’s office with legal advice regarding securities matters.

Kimberly Stein most recently held the position of Vice President of Corporate and General Counsel for Sona Mobile, Inc. “My office is committed to aggressive enforcement of Nevada’s securities laws and regulations, and Kimberly Stein’s broad range of experience in both the private and public sectors will serve that mission well,” said Miller. “It isn’t easy to find someone with her qualifications, and we look forward to her taking on the role of Chief of Enforcement and continuing the aggressive approach that this administration has established.”

Stein is a 22 year resident of Nevada, and has been a member of the Nevada State Bar since 2003.
